Sky Schroeder, O.D.

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor who makes OC Eye Care the leading provider of vision care products and services in Newport.

Sky Schroeder graduated with honors from Nebraska’s Wesleyan University in 1994.  As a student, he studied abroad in both Mexico and Argentina; as result he is fluent in Spanish.  Attending Pacific College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, Dr. Schroeder graduated in 2001 he and was an inductee into Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honors society. Following graduation, he spent three years as an optometrist and Captain in the Air Force at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas.

A humanitarian, Dr. Schroeder traveled on several eye missions around the globe; serving in clinics in El Salvador, Ecuador, and Kazakhstan. Attending the eye care needs of the greater Newport community since 2004, Dr. Schroeder brings a passion for eye health and wellness to the practice.
